The one major factor to a new players enjoyment is the community itself.

As for the sweat union, it is all well and good making a stand on a price, if everyone can uphold it, but the problem with it is that not everyone does, players that cave in on a lower price, just out of being desperate to shoot or mine something, allows the buyers to think they can get away with it and continue to lower the price, and as the supply is almost everywhere compared to demand, buyers can literally take advantage of desperate players with trigger fingers.

The only true way I personally see around this is not lowering the supply, but making the demand for sweat higher, and this is purely down to Mindark.

A number of great suggestion I have heard over the years for this include:
-Change all vehicles from oil to fuel, which is crude oil+sweat. (Personally I think this is the best one, as everyone starts with some sort of vehicle.)
-Add sweat to explosive ammo blueprint and take away nanocubes and add some mined resources, and add sweat to more blueprint in general.
-Add weaker cheaper mind force chips.
-Create player consumable healer/boosters which require sweat to make.

I personally would like to see the price of sweat rise back up, even as someone who deposits. Many say sweaters are freeloaders, they maybe free player today and could be depositor tomorrow, it all depends if they see the worth in sticking around, whether it be for fun or profit. New people are what helps keep Entropia going and only strengthen the general economy of the game. An economy is only good when the money flows, not when it is stagnant.Felix Zell Shallowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12988052619715490603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8599341578320715695.post-59159411360735919772016-08-04T04:45:01.747+01:002016-08-04T04:45:01.747+01:00I really hope that sweat does not drop below 1 PED...I really hope that sweat does not drop below 1 PED. As a new player it is what I make my living off of and I think that the games incoming player base will struggle as the price falls further and further. I'm interested in what the author has to say about things like B.I.G's Sweating Support Initiative and the numerous player unions that have cropped up. Are these good methods to fight the low prices?

I personally try to sell no lower than 1.7/K and encourage those around me to do the same. While it can get hard to find buyers at that price, I always do. It seems like many of the buyers are just pushing the price down lower by preying on newbies that don't know that you can get a much more reasonable price than 1.4/K.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03746713589377248169noreply@blogger.com
